La Loma Inn

My new favorite place to stay in Alpine, Super friendly staff and helpful, rooms are very clean, didnt see a single bug inside. rooms smelled good. beds are very comfy and pillows like fluffy clouds. AC / Heater unit works great. Great water pressure with hot water. Large smart TV with remote, fridge/freezer combo, microwave. also coffee pot in room. highly recommend this place. priced great. will stay again. Oh they also have a large laundry room for guest with brand new machines.

We stayed here after visiting Marfa TX. Only about 20-25 minutes east of Marfa, Alpine TX has many more options for an overnight stay. We found this motel on-line and decided to give it a shot especially after talking to Faith on the phone who seems to be quite the character. |We checked in and got our key from a friendly guy at the front desk. The room was basic as expected from other reviews. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The AC was more quiet than those found in more expensive hotels. The beds were fresh and comfortable. |I recommend and enjoyed our stay here. It reminded me of the mom and pop hotels we stayed at when I was a kid. |For $65 a night for 3 adults, you can’t go wrong. |Oh yeah, no breakfast but plenty of places to grab something just a few blocks away.

La Loma is my favorite place to stay! Faith is very accommodating! Highly recommended!

We arrived in alpine with no reservations and had about given up when I called the proprietor of Lo Loma who wasn’t on site. I was confused by old reviews so we booked one night and arranged a second. Very clean, had what we needed; a comfortable bed, microwave and refrigerator. Good place to use as a base for touring to Big Bend area. The National Park was overwhelmed with tourists so we made our way to the State Park and it was wonderful.

The rooms at the inn are very comfortable with clean sheets and soft blankets! It's one of the best value in town. There's a really nice laundromat attached to the inn. And the owner was very accommodating.
