Ventura Motel

Very basic Motel. The room was quite outlived and the bathroom definitely old. The room was also rather dark and was lacking natural sunlight. We did not test the breakfast although it was included in the price as there was no dedicated breakfast place, but it was organized in the reception area of the Motel. Next time I would rather look for a different place to stay

This place is the worst place to stay very dirty and the windows don’t open and the ceiling is falling apart. Not to mention the sink will not drain and the tub dose not work only the shower. The door to the outside dose not close all the way and has a gap at the bottom so the critters can easily come in. I would not recommend this place at all it’s very gross to be at.

Reserved a Saturday night directly with Ventura Motel. I confirmed the price was $140 something,plus tax. When I arrived the charge was $ 277. They stated that was the weekend rate, but they had me reserved for a Saturday. The internet also did not have the much higher price. I should have left but stayed there anyway. The location was fine for my purposes. Far from fancy, the motel is okay if you don't plan to stay at the motel long. I won't return because of the deception.

Based on the outside pic, I thought the Ventura would be a quirky, vintage motel. However, I found the room horrible. Broken soiled furniture, cramped quarters, doorless hangerless closet, plus a (working!) window air conditioner. There was a crappy little table that you could use either as a table, or for your luggage, but not both simultaneously. There's nowhere else for your luggage other than the bed or the floor. The lobby was interesting with its plexiglass partition separating me from the attendant. Quirky indeed! And speaking of the floor, thank goodness it was NOT carpet. At least with the vinyl plank my socks could detect the overall cleanliness.
