Valued Stay Madison

We were passing through on a cross country move and was a fine enough place to lay our heads for the night. Bathroom was pretty dingy but the room itself was nice enough. It was extremely difficult to find the hotel and if you're driving when the dump is burning garbage it is quite the smelly search. Staff was friendly enough, though they were dealing with a grouchy customer before us so ill give them some grace! I wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't want to stay for more than a night.

The rooms were clean for the most part but stunk cause its right next to a garbage dump site. The TV sucked u only get not even 5 channels and they don't even come in clear they r lined no Internet hookup to the TV. They charge u 50 dollars when u get there that wasn't in the agreement wen u book the hotel then they don't log it in so they try to steal 50 dollars from u so people need to watch that it's not appreciated. The water in the shower get hot and cold depending on who else is running the water I almost burned myself and that was not told that happens. The bed was lumpy and pillows r hard. The people above me didn't stop banging and heavy walking till 1 am then started again at 715am to say the least didn't get good sleep. The chips r little grab bags and they charge 2.50 for them

If you're looking for a base price with base amenities, then go ahead and make your reservation. The pros: pool was refreshing and clean, the room was clean as well. The shower had great water pressure. Good breakfast options. The cons: the mattress was horrible - soft and lumpy. No brewed decaf coffee, no complimentary conditioner or body lotion, the red and blue markers on the shower were backwards - not a big deal - you'll figure it out. Some, not all, of the other guests who live on the premises seemed a little shady. The cops were making their rounds frequently when we were there. Good room towels, room clean and quiet Negative: Strange place far away from town, TERRIBLE wi-fi, furniture had no drawers, loud a/c unit, limited toiletries, DESK ONLY OPEN UNTIL 7 PM, NO FITTED SHEET ON BED

My high ranking may look confusing given I note the quality of the space and location aren't great, but it makes sense for what the space gave me when I needed it: safety. Recently had to move out of a home that was falling apart, and the process of moving here while I found another was simple. Restrictive, yes, but workable, and that was what I needed at the time. Guaranteed food in the morning, 24/7 access pending you don't be an awful guest, and a space large enough to build something for yourself. It's not great you have to drive to get anything, or the amount of repair that needs to be done to it might not be worth it pending future guests, but it's a space you can go to if you need to unwind, transition, etc. I'm thankful for this space, and I hope they can build something of it a
