Holiday Inn Express & Suites Madison Central by IHG

We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Madison. The room was very nice and clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We also appreciated the little extras like the extra towels in the room, and an extra blanket tucked away in the closet. We arrived late last night, and the person at the front desk who checked us in was genuinely friendly and helpful. There was a mix-up with our rooms and we ended up waiting longer than expected, but they handled it well and even upgraded us to a suite, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was great with plenty of options, and parking was a huge plus. We were traveling with a big trailer and had lots of extra space to park, plus easy access to the side door. To me, this hotel was more than just a place to stay; it was a place where I felt a rare and genuine human warmth. When there was a power outage at night, the staff went above and beyond by decorating the entire space of hotel with lamps and providing delicious cookies and drinks for free. Every evening, they thoughtfully prepared cheese, snacks, and various beverages in the lobby. I was also impressed by how spotlessly clean everything was. Most of all, I was deeply moved by the staff’s greetings—they weren't just formal pleasantries, but truly warm and sincere welcomes. The reason this hotel has such incredible reviews is undoubtedly because of its amazing staff. I want to express my deepest gratitude to the team for brightening my heart. We were visiting town for the Renaissance Dog Show and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were consistently excellent, but Alex truly went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. For example, he was happy to provide extra towels, accommodated our late check-out, and even offered a highchair for our room. We were always greeted with a warm welcome each time we came in!

One of the nicer Holiday Inn Express properties that I’ve stayed at. Up-to-date facilities and courteous staff. The first night we were there they offered an evening reception with beer/wine and hors d’oeuvres, which is fairly unusual for a HIE. The room was generally clean, although there were some marks on the walls of the bathroom (near the light switch and garbage can) that looked like they could come off with a little scrubbing. There is a relatively busy road on the front side of the hotel and a train track on the back side. We stayed on the backside but heard only 1 slow moving train each night. It really didn’t disrupt our stay. Breakfast was standard HIE fare, with hot oatmeal, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, along with breads, cereals, etc.. There is a self-service coffee mak

5-stars on all levels. Outstanding hospitality and exceptional customer service at check-in. Free WIFI, excellent speed. Extremely comfortable beds, pillows and linens. The room was very clean, spotless, and very quiet. The temperature control in the room was the best I have experienced. The door the the room had a reliable security lock. Parking was very convenient and the parking lot was well lit. I really felt safe at the hotel. All outer doors except the front entrance required a guest key to enter. The complimentary breakfast had so many choices and was so well maintained by a gracious attentive staff. The fresh ground coffee 24/7 was over the top! Free shuttle service to a local venue was so convenient and stressfree. And, the manager had a complimentary horderve and drink table set
