Home2 Suites by Hilton Madison Central Alliant Energy Center

Stayed a several years back and the hotel is is close to the same condition. Clean rooms, not beat up...it is clear management and employees hold high standards. Rooms are large and well equipped with conveniences of home - eating utinsels, fridge, sink, dishwasher, etc. Pool is clean as are common areas. Breakfast has solid options and is well stocked throughout the breakfast window. I definitely recommend staying here.

I’m staying at the Home2 Suites by Hilton in Madison, Wisconsin, and it hasn’t been a pleasant experience. The design gives you zero privacy. The patio is right at the front entrance, which feels more like a way for the hotel to keep eyes on its guests than a spot to relax.||The Wi-Fi is a joke. It struggles to hit 5 Mbps, and half the time the speed test won’t even complete before crashing. The login screen pops up constantly, interrupting anything you try to do on your phone. Forget trying to work on a laptop. For a Hilton-branded property, this is embarrassing. If they cared about business travelers, they’d put hardwired connections in the rooms.||The USB port on the nightstand doesn’t even work, which I only found out when I woke up after the first night with a dead phone. Excellent front desk team. Breakfast ends too early at 9am. Hotel doesn't look like the photos. Patio is closed for several months. Very clean rooms & super soft beds. Our side could hear the highway traffic all night. Can't soundproof windows. Great location proximity to convention center but lacks food convenience but can be found closeby on Minona.

Large, clean, and modern rooms with built-in night light in bathroom. Hearty breakfast with eggs, sausage, bagels, cereal, and fruit. Great location for sightseeing. Only reason not a 5 for me is my room was right up against the freeway (as are many) and could hear the noise of cars and trucks regularly.
