The Buckingham Inn Bed and Breakfast

This is the best place to stay in Madison! Close to everything, especially the university. All of the amenities in our suite were high quality and so comfortable and well-thought out. Breakfast was fantastic. Our hosts were so gracious and kind and made us feel welcome. Check in was simple and Heidi checked with us ahead of time to see if we had dietary restrictions. The bathtub and shower were fantastic and it was beautifully clean. We will plan to stay again.

We had a fantastic time here! Everything was comfortable and beautifully done. Our breakfast was amazing and our hosts, Tom and Heidi, were the very best. The breakfast was very tasty. The room was beyond our expectations, fantastic bed and an amazing bathtub and luxurious shower. The location was also quite convenient, very close to campus. We would love to come here again.

What a lovely experience this was. We spent the weekend at the Buckingham, a small but beautiful B&B near the stadium in Madison. In this historic space, they seem to have thought of everything. Our room was generously sized and immaculate with thick towels and robes for the (very large) bath along with wine, snacks and chocolates to stave off the hunger until we got to one of Madison's great restaurants.||One of our pet peeves when we travel is temperature control and room noise and this was great. We were on the first floor and could hear footsteps overhead but the night was peaceful. I don't often mention showers but this one was wonderful.||Breakfast was also wonderful with fresh fruit, baked eggs, bacon, toast and greens. Healthy and beautiful on the plate. One of the nicest B&B stays we've had. Lovely place, nicely located. Gracious, friendly hosts who know the area well and offer great recommendations for things to do and see. Comfortable, quiet, and by far the most spectacular bathroom we've seen (complete with deep, quick-filling jetted tub!)

Had a wonderful stay at The Buckingham Inn! The room was very spacious and clean. Our breakfasts each morning were delicious! The cranberry French toast was maybe the best I’ve ever had! The Inn is located very close to UW Madison campus and easy access to great restaurants and shops. Very friendly hosts and great service overall. Would highly recommend staying here for a cozy and relaxing B&B experience!
