Value Suites Extended Stay - Arlington

Long term resident here. I've been here for almost 2 years, while no place is perfect, this place has gone downhill the past few months. There are known drug dealers now living on the property. Management has been informed about specific people but nothing has been done. I will be moving soon because the other day my son was offered drugs to buy, they know who the drug dealers are but refuse to do anything.

Positive: "" Negative: Hotel is dirty, I stayed here 12 years ago and it was a nice place. It has turned into a geto or section 8 housing.

The room was nasty, there was hair all over the bathtub and there was holes in the ceiling. We got a non smoking room but it definitely had a funky smell to it. The water even had a funky smell. The outside was dirty with trash and dog poop everywhere.

Stay Away from This Place! My husband and I booked this hotel for one night because we needed to be close to AT&T Stadium. After coming back from a show, we were shocked to find that all of our belongings had been stolen from the room. When we contacted the police, they told us that this wasn’t the first time—it’s apparently a recurring issue at this hotel. According to the officers, the building is constantly targeted, and there have even been reports of people getting killed here. This place is absolutely unsafe. We left immediately and want to strongly warn others: do not stay here. It’s not worth the risk to your safety or your property.

Pros: Great location, located near six flags & AT&T Stadium. Easy to find, great access to the freeway. Front desk was very nice and effecient. Cons: I witnessed 2 seperate drug dealers in the parking lot. They were there for more than 2 hours doing their transactions with various people driving up. The whole property is supposed to be a non smoking property, however, my room smelled like an ashtray. The pictures on the website are nowhere near what the actual rooms look like. Overall: I would not recommend this place. I would not stay here again if it was given to me for free.
