Sonesta Simply Suites Arlington Entertainment District

Room was large sized. Loved the amenities, but seems like an upgrade is due for this location. I did enjoy my stay. I rested well each night. The only thing I did not like was the smoking stench that lingered. I had to spray a couple of times, but it worked out.

We stayed here for a conference nearby. The staff was nice. The room was nice. We didn't get any cleaning service during our stay. The AC in our room would work for awhile then cut off.

Positive: The bed and pillows were comfortable. The ac worked great. Negative: I lost my driver's license and they refused to let me check in without it. I had a picture of it on my phone as well as my reservations on it. After some time, I was able to add my wife to my account and was able to check in.

We stayed here for 3 nights while in Arlington for a conference. Check-in went smoothly and the front desk staff was very friendly. For some reason, we were given a handicap-accessible room, which we did not request, and it had its challenges as we did not need such a room. (Not sure if it was because we booked on a third party website?) The bathroom sink had zero counter space and the roll-in shower had no lip whatsoever. I'm sure that's great if you are in a wheelchair, but we were not and it made for a watery mess on the bathroom floor. The hair dryer worked but it was covered in some sort of sticky substance. The thermostat was "automated" so it regulated the temperature in the room if you left and when you returned...or when it thought you left and/or returned! If you sat down

Our little family enjoyed our stay here very much. We came here to Arlington, TX because my dad had a business trip and we're allowed to join him. It was a really different experience for us since it's a vacation in another country but at the end of the day it still felt like home during our stay here. The daily stuff we need is available here plus the place is clean. The customer service was also very nice and friendly. I felt so welcome here. I recommend this place!
