Valle Crucis Farm

We had high hopes for seeing snow during our stay. The purpose was to stay at a natural and peaceful place as we hoped our 8yo would experience his first snow. He did! The rating here is reflective of a few inconvenient and service related issues (we know it is season - $255/night) - no consistent WiFi service (streamed TV or not, never had WiFi service and asked repeatedly for service to the owners), no communication after check-in (not that it’s a necessity; but, this location is 40 minutes from anything & communication helps when it’s 20-30F outside), no coffee after the first day (yes, we washed the dishes, took our garbage to a formal disposal location, ensured the property was clean enough to eat off of the floor), and, a general sense of not having any actual hospitality beyond moti

Our family of three spent a weekend getaway at this charming cabin and we couldn't recommend it enough! It was impeccably clean, one of the cleanest vacation rentals I've ever experienced, and came fully stocked with extra blankets, a well-equipped kitchenette, a cute wood-burning stove, and an incredibly comfortable bed. We're eagerly looking forward to our next stay here!

We recently took a weekend trip for a mini getaway. We rent The Bear Cabin for two nights. The farm/ property is easy to find and in our opinion well located to the surrounding popular towns. The property is pet friendly and has decent flat (and lighted!) space for your pet to do their business just outside the cabin. The cabin and property were very clean, and well maintained. It’s brilliantly decorated with properly sized furniture for the space, while small (but perfect), seems very spacious! Our cabin could sleep 5 with a main bedroom, large futon, and a loft. The owners are very friendly and back and forth communication is excellent. We will definitely be staying again!!!

My wife and I have never seen any accommodation cleaner than this one! Also, it was well equipped with anything and everything one might need. The very attractive decorations tied in well with the area. The bed was very comfortable. The area around the cabin was exceptionally quiet and peaceful. Alfredo was very kind, available, and helpful. He, the cabin, the nearby surroundings and the people who live there made us feel much more like honored guests than tourists. An added and unforeseen bonus was the absolutely beautiful Valle Crucis Community Park! It is hard for us to imagine going back to the area and staying anywhere else other than the Valle Crucis Farm!

My fiancé and I stayed here during a ski trip to Sugar & Beech Mountain. It was perfect! We enjoyed everything about the scenery and location. The owners are kind people
