Valhalla Resort

We stayed in cabin #4, from Dec 22nd until 26th and enjoyed the peace up out there. We’ve been up there 2yrs in a row for Christmas just my husband and I, we live the cabins and the staff. They gave us a little gift last year and this year which was so sweet of them. I made home made ornaments last year for them and again this year…just wanted to say thank you for having us there. The cabins are clean, cozy, and just romantic especially this time of the year. They give military discount so…yes definitely love this place!! lol Thank you all again for another great Christmas at your Resort!

Had a very peaceful and relaxing stay in Cabin 6. The cabin was simple and rustic, but clean, quiet, and cozy. We spent much time on the porch in the beautiful weather. The kitchen was well-stocked with Handsoap, dishwashing liquid, utensils and dishes. Bed was comfortable with plenty of towels. Not much counter space in the bathroom, so just be aware. Hot tub for this cabin is not private. It is located at the office. We were able to enjoy the hot tub by ourselves. However, please note the office window looks out onto the hot-tub area. Office has movies and games available. Disappointed that the shuttle quit stopping there the weekend before we arrived. Not complaining, just be aware this could be the case in the off-season, so check ahead if you want/need this service. Groun

We stayed in Cabin 7. The rooms were clean, but the kitchen dishes needed cleaned again, the dishwasher definitely needs replaced. The microwave worked but it cracked and no lights when cooking. The coffee maker was broke, and we asked the office for something and got a 4 cup pot for a party of 6. It was loud during our stay as a cabin was playing music outside every night we were there, so very little wildlife. Lots of traffic on main road. The fireplace was hard to stay lit, and we actually even tried wood from in town to. We enjoyed the hot tub, and being close to town. My husband did have to get more towels from office on day 3 and said the office lady was not very polite about it. We have been coming to this resort for 14 years, and you can definitely see the difference in ownership.

We just got back from a 5 day Estes park vacation in cabin 20. I would not recommend this resort if you are looking for something with up to date accommodations. The shower head upstairs was about waist high so our kids couldn’t even use it. Not sure who it was made for. Many areas upstairs felt like the floor was going to fall through, along with the two downstairs guest bedrooms. Pretty concerning. The master shower downstairs had a broken shower head that shot out in one small stream. The furniture in the living room wasn’t awful but was definitely very worn. It was VERY hot in the house, so if you plan to travel in July and want to be cool during the day, you definitely need to book something somewhere with AC or make sure they have provided you with multiple fans. Wonderful time for our family over Christmas! Comfortable, well-maintained. Great location for RMNP. Friendly staff!
