Uptown Inn & Suites, St Petersburg, FL

Room was absolutely dirty and run down, is it cheap? Yes in both price and quality. It smelled like cigarettes, the floor was sticky and uncleaned, and the shower and rooms were gross. Also the fire alarm beeped constantly and the fridge was so loud we had to unplug it. Another fun fact after only one night, the next morning we woke up to a jacked up car. A rodent got into the engine and chewed a wire! Thank you so so much. Amazing stay!

Very small place for the price paid. Also, it’s very run down and dilapidated, from the exterior to the room and its bathroom. The door to the room I stayed in had a space between the bottom of the door and the ground that was about two inches. This could allow for any kind of bugs, lizards, and even snakes to get into the room if they wanted to. The staff, specifically property manager Trish, was very unprofessional. When I got the room and asked where a nearby convenience store was, Trish said, “There’s a Habib store down the road.” How racist a statement is that???|My room was not cleaned once, nor was I provided fresh bedding or towels in the entire three weeks I stayed at the Uptown Inn and Suites.|The bathtub would not drain properly, with water coming up above my ankles every time I

Terrible hotel. It was dirty. The beds had hair in them from the previous people that stayed. Everything in the room had rust on it including the tub. No heater in the room. The the 2 ladies that run the hotel was rude and not helpful at all. I would never come here again and probably the worst hotel I have ever been in.

Positive: The rooms are decent Negative: The hotel staff is atrocious we were put out by the pool for four and a half hours twice to transfer rooms when we had bookings to stay in the same room both times. The very last booking our two day stay was canceled first night after staying

Overall great customer service from workers and did get to check in early Great neighborhood You will have a couple of people that’s living there welcome you to the hotel with a few stairs and eye watchers Dirty floors needs to be swept scrubbed and mopped Dirty bathroom mats that I wouldn’t even let my dog step on Shower knobs were broken Dirty sheets and pillow cases Outside is renovated but the inside still does look like the building was built in 1981 Pool needs to be covered if it’s not going to be cleaned and represented nice for people coming through on vacation
