Hyatt Place St. Petersburg / Downtown

Shout out to Tyler at the front desk, he made our stay enjoyable, easy he is very knowledgeable and so welcoming. Made our stay so enjoyable. Also to Tamiela, our room was so well cleaned, beautiful it was a pleasure coming back to our room each time. Very friendly made our stay so enjoyable. Also to Sunny and all the staff who ensured our breakfast was fully stocked, the coffee was perfect, the whole area and tables were super clean and organized. We had a cozy corner king room and it was very large and comfortable. Everything was clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable. Windows are small and high. I guess we are all use to full floor to ceiling windows but that is a minor quibble. It was a very comfortable stay. The hotel staff were all very nice and helpful. We were greeted with a smile by everyone. Breakfast was serviceable but not really that great. Coffee was good though.||The hotel has a great location. Right downtown and a short 5-10 minute walk to the pier area and all the great dining choices nearby.||My rating is for the hotel only, but be aware of the following.||IMPORTANT WARNING: I’m shocked that no reviews mentioned this. This is not something that the hotel can control unfortunately but never-the-less important

I've stayed at this Hyatt a few times but most recently Feb 18-20. It's pretty typical for a Hyatt Place, clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. What makes this Hyatt property stand out is the staff. While the front desk folks were great at what they do my huge shoutout has to go to the breakfast/kitchen workers especially Leslie. She went so far above and beyond great customer service. She was simply kindness personified. My traveling companion asked if they had oatmeal (as all the oatmeal accompaniments were displayed). She explained that they were waiting for delivery or something with the steamer. No problem. We went about getting our breakfast. In a few minutes, Leslie brought my companion an oatmeal packet that she brought from home for her own breakfast. She did so the

The staff at this establishment is fantastic. Makes you feel like family. They are so welcoming and helpful not only with the process on how to sign in park your car both of the area and what to see where to go things that you must do.|It was really nice. They also checked up on us each time they Sawsan asked us how our trip was going what did we see so far and what was next made? You feel very comfortable and welcome.|The location of this hotel is perfect for the pier, the farmers market and the nightlife
