Coral Reef Beach Resort

Our unit was in perfect condition with everything you could need. Located right on the beach with a beautiful pool area. We found lots of restaurants within walking distance. There is temporary construction due to the 2024 hurricane damage in the area. We called the resort and were advised to enter through The Tradewinds Resort entry, go all the way back to the beach to the temporary parking area.

Awesome location. The pools were great, they are heated just enough to be comfortable going in the winter. The hot tubs are awesome, there are 3 of them. They even had some kids pool floaties we used. Being so close to the beach is great. The room's bed was very comfortable and service was great. There's pretty good blackout curtains in the room.

I had booked a condo here JANUARY 8, 2025 to get a condo for my 60th birthday trip. I also got confirmed. I received 2 phone calls, one from Brenda & one from Michael Dillon to CONFIRM I WAS COMING. What to expect, where to park a couple week PRIOR to our trip. We were leaving Sunday, OCTOBER 5th...on Saturday OCTOBER 4th I got a phone call from Expedia saying my reservation was CANCELLED!! I thought it was a scam so I dismissed it and hung up. Couple hours later Expedia called me again saying I had no reservation. Now I'm freaking out. Again, had no clue what they were saying because I was confirmed multiple times by Coral Reef. Less than 24 hours before travel, my reservation was CANCELLED by Coral Reef!! The location of the Coral Reef is perfect. We traveled with a group of people staying at different hotels nearby. I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms, pool area and the convenience of laundry, extra towels and staff was extremely accommodating. We visited our friends at the adjacent hotels and the swimming pools were warm and were not refreshing and their rooms did not include a kitchen and amenities. The Coral Reef Pool is refreshing and the nicest in the area, not to mention ample parking. This was my first visit to St. Pete Beach, and by far my favorite Florida Beach and location. Best pool on the beach. I used to be even bigger. Two pools, 3 got tubs and about 60 units, no bar yet but there is the cabana bar about two feet away on the beach. It’s nestled in between TradeWinds and Rumfish but no affiliation with TradeWinds. Just neighbors.this is a time share but the owners rent their weeks out to other interested parties. As owners they have all been here for years each week. Front desk is helpful to fault. It’s whatever whenever possible so doing be afraid to ask but always be generous
