University Square Hotel

This “hotel” is more like a motel. It’s an absolute dump. When we first came into the building we noticed the strong smell of weed/mold in the hallways and our room. We opened the fridge to find a dead cockroach. We also found many dead roaches around the room. It’s like the cleaners didn’t bother to sweep them up. The elevators and AC are broken. We pulled the sheets back and it revealed huge splotches of dried blood/stains. Would not recommend to anybody. Splurge that extra money on any other hotel. I felt like I was in a horror movie because everything about this hotel was dingy and dark. Terrible.

Positive: That we made it alive the next morning. Negative: The room had roaches and it felt unsafe outside.

This place has really gone downhill. Rooms are outdated and smells stale. Homeless gathering in parking lot smoking weed. The hallways smell of weed also. Room was not very clean and the towels felt like sandpaper. For only $150 for two nights I guess you get what you pay for. I will not be returning anytime soon. The positive points is it's location is great for save mart events or campus point restaurants and movies.

This place is the worst hotel in Fresno. It should be condemned. Do not stay here. The rooms and the halls smell|| Homeless people amd dogs roaming the halls. Avoid at all costs. It's dirty and unsafe

The owner tried to come into our room. We left to get groceries, came back and someone ran outside and jumped in the car besides us. They were acting suspicious. Like he was spooked to see me. He doeve off fast. I went think the room and my guest went back to the car to get the rest of the food and the same man hurried up and went to the room next to ours after driving off fast and away. Then he wne tin and talked to some lady for like 5minutes. I was standing in the hall and he came out again and was standing at the door looking at me from his side eye. It was weird and the lady looked at me hatefully. They walked down the hall and tried to enter another room. She stood there looking at me like she wanted to fight. Then they walked out. That following morning, today around 4 am, I hear so
