Tuscola Motel

I had called up asking to check out the rooms before deciding if I wanted to stay there or not. I arrived around midnight and they let me check out room 21. When I opened the door I flipped the light switch up and nothing happened. There was no light on the ceiling. The outside light kept going off and on which gave an eerie feeling when it would illuminate the room and it would suddenly go dark again. I finally did find a lamp that worked. The toilet was making weird noises like someone might be back there gargling on their own blood. The only thing that was missing was the Michael Myers Halloween song playing. The bed looked like someone had been murdered on it. It was covered in red, brown and yellow stains. I have personally seen a 70 year old mattress and this looked way worser th

Stayed here while I was in town to visit family and friends what I found was a filthy motel I woke with bed bug bites all over my body found dirty used kleenex between the layers of dirty unchanged sheets dirty used towels in the bathroom. They advertised that they had HBO and free Wi-Fi they had neither in fact the tv was at least 20 years old. When I complained about the bed bugs they denied that they were infested with them. Talked to others staying there and they then found out why they had bites all over their bodies also. Found cigarette butts under the bed. NO Heat they brought me a heater that had electrical tape on the cord so I was afraid to use it. I am reporting the place to the health department DO NOT STAY THERE DISGUSTING

Light fell off during the night when I pulled the cord, and smashed all over the floor. Not wanting to disturb anybody, I left it until the morning to tell someone, at which point the owner accused us of smashing the place up! He also barged into the room without knocking! Room was filthy with cigarette butts swept under the bed. Sleeping in your car is better than this place. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely disgusting. Six inches of water and sewage runs underneath the whole motel. Bed bugs are terrible. Instead of treating bed bugs they just cover them up. Black mold everywhere. Not sure how a place like this is able to stay in business. I had to throw away alot of stuff because of bugs. Every room has bugs. Not just one or too. Good luck if you stay here

Depending on the room, certain things won't work or bad smell, dirty. Management is understanding and will move you. Cheapest in bay City and close to Saginaw. People here will let you alone. They won't call the cops on you or kick you out, for the most part. It's not great but give three stars. It's a place to be safe at when you got no where to go.
