Tru by Hilton Raleigh Durham Airport

Needed a place last minute due to a delayed flight. They immediately sent over a shuttle at 12:00am. Tara the shuttle driver was there quickly and very welcoming. The hotel is clean. They offer free breakfast. The lobby is very inviting and they had lots of board games to play. The beds were comfy. The room didn’t have a microwave which was a bummer. The wooden platform that the mattress sits on wasn’t clean very well. Other than that, the water was hot in the shower. The stay was great! Will stay again. Shuttle ride was less than 5 minutes to the hotel.

Positive: Free shuttle, breakfast and close to airport. Negative: Significant difference vs. Marriot for points and no fees thst get credited back. It's like Hilton isn't trying to compete in that market anymore.

Our son was taking an architecture camp at NC state and although we live about an hour from campus, we decided to take a little weekend away. The price was affordable and we didn't want to be near campus where it is very busy. Nice clean room. It was super small in comparison to other hotel rooms. Not much walking room from the bed to the opposite wall. Would be okay for a night or 2. Perfect hotel for an early morning flight to catch. My son and husband enjoyed the breakfast. The toiletries smelt amazing! Especially the soap. Shower looked small but was spacious enough and water hot and pressure was great. Toilet seat was very lose so we had to be careful wiping... overall, 4.5 stars from us

Location is perfect to the airport and the free shuttle is a huge plus! Tara the shuttle driver was patient and welcoming as we were her last ride for the evening. The hotel was clean. I had one issue with the bed frame not being particularly clean. Right where the mattress sits needs to be dusted/wiped. Other than that, our stay was great. The young lady at the front desk was sweet and helpful. I’m mad i didn’t get her name. I had a delay at the airport and this place was perfect.

Our hockey team stayed at this Tru for a tournament last weekend. We were playing at the Invisalign Arena which is only about 5-8 minutes away. Ryan facilitated this for us. His role is dedicated to room blocks for sports teams. He is very responsive and helpful and made sure everything was taken care of for us. The rooms are typical Tru, which I like for their minimalist quality. The floors are LVP, the beds are comfy, you can stream on the smart tv, everything was clean, good water pressure, toiletries provided, mini fridge, blackout curtains, and lots of outlets. The lobby is the hub and a great place for the team to congregate. There was a pool table and lots of tables and seating options. Breakfast is included and it the typical offerings.
