Tru by Hilton Ocean City Bayside

Positive: Location and cleanliness. Negative: Not all front desk staff were as engaging.

We stayed at Tru by Hilton for a cheerleading competition and were beyond satisfied. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, the breakfast buffet had a great selection (and somehow never ran out of anything), and the hotel was spotless. And when I say spotless… I mean so clean that at 6:00 a.m. I walked straight into the glass shower door because I thought it was open. That’s how clean it was. For anyone wondering no worries, I didn’t break the door or myself, just my dignity for a moment. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place with friendly staff, I’d absolutely recommend staying here. Just maybe put a sticky note on the shower door so you don’t test the cleanliness the way I did.

Hotel was clean. Our room was spotless. Great job on that!|Check in was easy and everyone we've interacted with have been friendly.|Pool is nice and it's on the 4th floor. Never seen that before.|Breakfast was good. I got sausage and eggs with some potatoes each morning. They had more, like pancakes, oatmeal and maybe some bread and things, but for me I was satisfied.|Parking was good. Never had an issue finding a spot, and it was nearly sold out the one night we were there.|FYI, it doesn't have a washer/dryer for use. That wasn't a big deal for us, but if you're staying a bit it could be.|The only issue I had was the one queen mattress was destroyed. I did let them know and I'm sure they'll replace it. Not sure what someone had to do to completely flatten it, on just the one side

Gosh! What can I say, this trip was one of my best. - Location is perfect. 5 minutes to the beach and fast food next door - Breakfast was always excellent. Presentation, quantity and quality 💯 - It all started with the warm welcome *my name* on the tv when I came in… That was so sweet❤️ - The room was minimalistic but artistic and practical. Storage space was artistically positioned without being obvious or taking away from the beauty and practicality of the room. The bed was great, sheets were clean, lamps were cute and effective, lighting was not glaring or dull. It was perfect 🤩 💪🏼 👌 - Towels were sufficient, shower gel and hand soap smelt great and though I always bring my own body wash , this was one trip where I did not have to use it and that’s just crazy🤣🤣 Cos I’m NitPicky🙈 like th

We chose this hotel because it was dog friendly. However, the rooms were not thoroughly cleaned. From time to time we were hit by a smell of poorly washed floors where dogs reside. The lobby had very dirty and neglected amenities.. Everything was stained. The pool looked like a poisoned zone. The nice thing was coffee and tea 24/7 however the stuff was not very diligent when it comes to refilling the tea bags and coffee pots. Breakfast was included but I am not even commenting on that. In general breakfast offered here vs in Europe is just so unhealthy that I am not touching that. This was an affordable stay but I would not go back. Hotel has a potential but TLC is much needed. Good location though. Service average.
