Tru by Hilton Columbia Downtown

I have to admit I chose this hotel based on previous reviews that mentioned the breakfast tacos and they were elite. Excellent location. Parking was wide open and well lit for trips to the car at night. The front desk staff was kind and welcoming when we showed up. The room was new and clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom was great especially the great water pressure. Would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The service was outstanding—everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish. A special thank you to Tiffany, who truly made everything better for our whole group. She went above and beyond and made our experience even more memorable. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and breakfast was a highlight with great food and plenty of options. We would absolutely stay here again!

We were traveling from NC to |Augusta , GA and stayed overnight in SC..This was my husband and I first time staying at this hotel. Great value.. What an exceptional experience from the time we walked in. The staff was amazing! Food was great and the atmosphere was so inviting. The bar area / food was amazing!! Thank you Corry for my layered Martini. Special thanks also to Tee, Cassie. We really appreciated not having to leave the hotel to get food..Room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Noise level was minimal..Once we checked out, lillie was friendly and made sure we had water for our road trip. I highly recommend Homewood Suites located at 400 Gervais Street in Columbia, SC. The next time we are traveling through SC, this is our hotel of choice! You get 10 stars from us

This was an overnight trip and the hotel was great and clean! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Usually every time I go into a hotel there is always hair in the shower, that was not the case with this hotel. Breakfast was good and hot with great options, and they had grits. We will definitely stay here again if we have to stay overnight in Columbia. I meant to take pictures when we first got there, but I forgot. So, please disregard our bags in the pictures, I took these photos when we were about to leave.
