Hampton Inn & Suites Columbia Killian Road

I came here as a last minute option in an ice storm. My mom was not feeling well, I had just left my home because my heat was broken, and I felt absolutely downhearted. The staff took amazing care of us. Sent plenty of water and ginger ale to my mom, even extra blankets fresh out the dryer when she was freezing. Every single staff member was friendly, kind, and compassionate! Traveling is hard for me, this is the first place I stayed that made me feel as comfortable as I did in my own home. Even the text messages from the GM checking to make sure our stay was going well. It was quite the impressive stay! I'll recommend it to anybody for any reason! Thank you all so much for taking such great care of us; hospitality at its finest!

We have stayed at this hotel several times when traveling from Ohio to Florida and it is clean, good breakfast, quiet and friendly staff. Relatively new. Certainly recommend.

The staff welcoming us at check in were very nice, well spoken, and knowledgeable. The cookies at check in were a nice touch. The room was spacious and the check-out time was generous, noon. Only a few problems: the conditioner bottle in the shower was empty, but I only discovered in the morning while I was taking a shower, there were a few stray hairs still on the bathroom floor around the shower, the hot water carafe in the lobby was not kept hot so I had to warm up hot chocolate in my room microwave, and the cable TV didn't work in the morning, so we had no reason to stay for the late check out. We appreciated the hot breakfast in the morning and it was a good start to our day. I'd be willing to use Hampton Inns again.

My husband and I stayed overnight at the Hampton Inn Columbia, SC, Killian Road on Sunday, December 28. It was the halfway point on our long drive home from Florida to Ohio. We were three hours into the drive before I realized that I had probably left my iPad in our hotel room. I called the front desk of the hotel, and staff member Katrina picked up. When I inquired whether an iPad had been found, she said that the cleaning staff had not been in the room yet but she would immediately go up herself and check for it in the room. Not long later, she called back and said that she had found the iPad - and made me feel better by saying that it really blended in with the top of the desk where I had left it :). I explained that we were already three hours away and unable to return to the hot

The whole staff are phenomenol from the front desk personnel to housekeeping to the folks running the breakfast area! I can't say enough good about the hospitality at this hotel! The rooms for sure need some updating but other then that very very pleased with our stay here! Breakfast was GREAT. We stayed here for 3 nights for our son's basic training graduation from Fort Jackson, South Carolina and if we are ever in the area again this will be our hotel pick for sure.
