Tropical Resort & Marina on Lake Beresford

Truly a hidden gem!! We found this place last minute after another reservation fell through and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and the rooms are absolutely beautiful. Clean, well maintained and with everything you need. Close to Blue Springs and historic Deland. We were sad to leave and wish we could have stayed longer! 10/10 recommend.

This was our first trip here, and it was very nice. The office was very accommodating with late check in and moving our pontoon rental to the next day due to rain. The room was nice and we liked the close parking spaces so you didn't have to carry your luggage any distance. Parking is tight in the back when everyone has big vehicles, but we had no problems. The office has ice, drinks, firewood and tshirts for sale. There are 2 nice restaurants nearby and the Winn Dixie store up the road. If you need a cold beer, or mixed drink, there is a vintage biker bar (smoking allowed inside) next door - no food however you can have Papa Johns Pizza delivered at the bar or to your resort room very quickly. Came up for a short weekend for a family gathering. A family member suggested we stay there. Was very quiet and relaxing. Probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in that wasn’t my own. Kitchen had everything you need to cook, we made breakfast every morning. Would like to come back up during the warmer months and take advantage of boating and fishing! Family owned staff I thought were very friendly and also helpful with anything we needed!

We really enjoyed our stay for a few nights. Everything from the pool to the little store. The staff was super friendly and willing to accommodate our every need. Super close to downtown Deland, which had Many different restaurants to choose from. Quite an old city with a lot of charm. Definitely would go back if we were ever in the area again.

You can stay here, rooms are great, Lake Beardsford is at your front door, there's a pool to swim in, boats to rent or boat slips to rent!!! Fire pit, they've been having food trucks!! Old Florida vibes.
