Hampton Inn & Suites Deland

Positive: We have stayed here before and it was a nice stay on our previous stay. The breakfast is nice and the staff are friendly. Negative: The hallways were extremely hot and the ice machine was not working on our floor. There was ice a few floors up. Our room had moist floors that eventually dried out overnight, but had a musty smell. The nightstand was falling apart.

Checked in at 1700.today Jan 29. Absolutely amazed with room.layout.and being convenient. The person at the counter doing check in was absolutely. The nicest person I've met.ive been traveling for my company for 17 years. We will switch. To the Hampton Inn. In DeLand Florida.we only rent about 15 rooms a week here. But it's worth it

I dealt with Jessica Algieri and Payton, they assisted me with the activity room for my father’s birthday celebration. These ladies were so kind and attentive to our needs. They were very easy to work with and surpassed my expectations. I’d definitely recommend this hotel just for the staff alone. Kudos for both ladies thanks.

I live in the same county, but occasionally have events to attend in DeLand at night. I have reached the stage where I no longer like driving at night, so when I can't be home before dark, I have chosen to stay here. It's a great hotel. It's located just a few miles from Stetson University and downtown DeLand. | I was here twice just in December 2025. I wanted a walk in shower instead of a bathtub, so I ended up with a King Suite, which was lovely. It was just recently renovated (Room 524) .Everything was clean and comfortable. Also included in this room were a microwave and fridge. Not all rooms have both. My only complaint (and I mentioned this in a Google review too), is that the shower floor is very slippery. There is only one grab bar in the shower, and I pretty much held onto

The location is very nice. A lot of places to eat in the area. The hotel is also very neat and clean. When we came here the A/C wasn’t working in the hallways from the 2nd through 5th floor. Which isn’t a big deal since the rooms have A/C’s. Our rooms A/C wasn’t working when we got settled in. The receptionist helped us out and moved us to another room. It wasn’t the same double queen bed, but it wasn’t a big deal we can make do. Then the shower only gave out hot water!! We made it work since we’re only here one night. Then the water wouldn’t turn off. All of us rotated through and then spoke to the receptionist. She was very kind and helpful even offered to assist us in turning it off. We somehow managed to turn it off. This place isn’t bad just a few hiccups in maintenance that need to b
