Hontoon Landing Resort & Marina

From booking over the phone, staying there and checking out I couldn’t ask for more. I was arriving very late from England and they helpfully had my cottage’s lights and telly on so I could identify it from the car park. The cottage was perfect…comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, spacious and clean. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I was staying here whilst attending a rowing camp and the location couldn’t be better..100m from the boats! It is very quiet and full of friendly wildlife (birds). Also, incredibly well priced! Couldn’t ask for more.

I was staying at a chain hotel in the area and friends were staying here. We met our friends there to see the place. We loved the place and they loved it too. We had some questions about the area, like restaurants, local things to do, etc. The lady (Lori) that was in the office was amazing. The hotel I was staying at the customer service was horrible, as if I was a burden to ask such questions. NOT with Lori, she was very patient with all of our questions, kind, personable and VERY knowledgeable of the area. To have staff at a hotel that wants you to enjoy your visit to the area is a plus for me. The next time we are in the area we will stay here.

Great for pontoon rentals! The staff were really nice and helpful in orienting us to the boat. The boat was well equipped and clean. The scenery was wonderful and it's a nice location to go to Blue Springs from via boat! Plenty of wildlife in the area and we had a blast! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a getaway on the water for a couple of hours!

Friendly staff, quiet environment for a peaceful vacation. The boat ride was exceptional, seeing bald eagle, alligators, unique birds, manatee and a wild boar. Wonderful place.

I was very pleased with my 4 nights stay. First time on a pontoon boat and the weather was perfect. Staff is very friendly & accommodations were relaxing. I would recommend this resort. I will be returning again to stay.
