Travelodge by Wyndham Shreveport LA

We came ro check in and there was two ladies greeting us with t h great hospitality. Felt as if part of family not checking into a hotel. One thing I will say is breakfast and coffee really would make teavelodge mostamazing place to stay!!! Our stay was amazing room. Was clean and very relaxing never slept better.

Positive: I didn?t die while I was there Negative: Residents of the hotel were walking outside smoking, carrying drinks and inspecting people as they came in. It made me very nervous. I was worried my car would be broke into or stolen. I wanted to check on it at night but was too afraid to go outside.

Most of the staff was great. I called at 7:30 a.m. As the blowdryer in the room was broken. It was not addressed promptly. The clerk at the desk said " I have no control on when it will be taken care of.." Upon my return at 5:45 p.m. It was FINALLY ADDRESSED. COMMODE NEEDS AN UPGRADE.. MORE PILLOWS ON THE KING SIZE BED... ( THERE ARE ONLY 3) I believe the price should have reflected the inconvenience. Candee was by far, the best employee..

If you are the type of person who thinks "I don't really care where I stay; I just need a room," the Travelodge by Wyndham Shreveport is the hotel that will make you realize that you do have some standards. Upon arrival, we "encountered" a woman with a sour disposition who would have much rather ignored us than checked us in. After a rather abrasive interaction, we received our keys and made it to our room. While I have never stayed at a by-the-hour motel, I imagine this room was reminiscent of such lodging. With only two small bars of soap provided and the two small bottles of shampoo and condition, the amenities ended there. Do not expect the Return of any Belongings left behind, most hotel holds your belongings ive once left a wallet in a Houston hotel for over a Year when I returned. I jus asked out of curiosity and the Guy said YES ! and that he remembered me and wondered why I never contacted him abt it...to my Surprised everything i left in the Wallet was still there even my Money....im 100% sure I forgot my belongings at this hotel and I was 100% sure I wasn't gona Retrieve it..its call Ratchet City for a Reason
