Homewood Suites by Hilton Shreveport

Here for 33 days until I deploy. Great staff. Good breakfast and they have good food on Wednesday night social. Housekeeper Monica is the best. She really take her time and clean my room. She puts her love into cleaning. Thank you Monica

Breakfast was the best part of this hotel. The room was dirty and couch had stains on it. There was dried food and grease along the wall in the kitchenette, the drawers in the 2 dressers that doubled as tv stands would not stay closed, and the ice bucket was so filthy that we had to have it replaced. Have NEVER experienced a Homewood Suites like this. Overall very shabby and definitely in need of deep cleaning

I traveled to nearly 20 different countries in the past few years and have had some extraordinary experiences and lodged at some fabulous hotels. I can say without hyperbole that the staff at Homewood Suites were on par with the best of them in terms of friendliness and providing a feeling that they "saw us" and wanted us to have a positive experience. This was not one person but everyone we interacted with from "Ky" who checked us in, Jackie the breakfast manager, Angela in laundry, every front desk worker and all members of the team we saw. I hesitated in naming these people by name because I know I'm leaving many of their team members out. Simply stating "Kudos" to you all....thanks for a positive experience.

Positive: Dear Management Team,I am writing to report that, despite prior reassurance that our room access issue had been resolved, another incident occurred just before midnight. Someone again attempted to enter our room, startling us to stress! Negative: This occurred even with the Do Not Disturb sign displayed and the safety latch secured.I was later informed this was the front desk attempting entry due to a note in the system; however, there was no knock, call, or prior communication before

Had the best time at the social Miss Jackie was awesome. She made sure we all were well fed and was super polite.||Love the ambience and the environment. It’s a refreshing feeling staying at a hotel that actually makes her guest feel like home!
