Travelodge by Wyndham Juneau

I recently stayed at Travelodge Juneau and had a disappointing experience. Upon arrival, I checked in and was informed that our requested king-size room was unavailable, and we would be given a room with two full size beds instead. The issues escalated when we entered our room, which was cold, with the heat turned off. Given the freezing temperatures outside, I expected a warmer room. The bed was also unexpectedly hard, and I had to request extra blankets from housekeeping to pad the mattress. We ordered food delivery, which was satisfactory, but the power went out during our meal, affecting not just the hotel but also the surrounding area, including the airport. The following day, I attempted to take a shower but found the water to be lukewarm at best. My husband also experienced issues w

Positive: Hotel employee was super helpful and the rooms were clean. Negative: No screens in the windows and they had to be open because they were extremely hot. Cleaning was hit or miss (i.e. water left in the ice bucket made me wonder what else was missed). The desk staff seem confused a lot of the time.

My family and I were on a cruise to Alaska. However, due to a mechanical issue on the airplane that the cruise line selected for us, we missed our cruise departure time in Seattle, WA. ||Lesson one - Don't book an airline through the cruise company, instead, fly the night prior to the cruise so that you don't miss your cruise. This is because the cruise-line won't wait for you, even if they booked your flight!!!||After a lot of back and forth, the cruise line eventually got us a flight out to Seattle, and then on to Juneau Alaska, so that we could meet the cruise line a few days later. I like staying here. It’s an older property however the rooms are large and clean. The beds are comfy. The staff are great! Very helpful. The shuttle service is great. They have a “miners rate” if you work at one of the mines in the area. It’s a quiet area and I never hear anyone in the rooms next to mine. The hotel is in a good location with lots of parking. No food on the property but Uber Eats and Door Dash are available.

You know dudes & dudettes some of my friends in Juneau Alaska said good things about this Hotel but they did had a good Mexican Restaurant in town but they couldn't do nothing keep there Restaurant for the guesses and others question why is it gone and why isn't coming back to them on it they either had bad ratings or people kept complaining about it or they fail there health inspections and got a health violations on a few things on it but no body knows what really happened in there some of the wish they hadn't closed down for good knowing some of my friends miss there food in there so it is open for lease that is far as I know on it from what some of my friends in Juneau Alaska had said on when they message me all over it and all goodluck to there business there so gonna need if it means
