Ramada by Wyndham Juneau

Although this hotel is well located being in close proximity to the cruise lines, downtown Juneau and Tracy’s crab shack it is desperately in need of an update. Based on the condition of the rooms we observed, it has been over 10 years since they were meaningfully updated. Although the general location is good, the hotel is right on the main road to Juneau and the room we were in faced the road and was noisy. The other rooms face a parking lot and are noisy as well. There is no air conditioning and screens were only provided for one of the windows. The one screen that was provided did not fully close. After our first night in the hotel we asked when our room would be cleaned. We were told the hotel only had staff to clean the rooms in the morning and since we did not request a room cle

Stay at ramada was a 4/5 with early check in and nice and supportive staff. Location was near and walkable from downtown. Every excursion pickup point is literally 5-10min walkable from hotel. Only reasons for not giving 5/5 are 1. Room Phone was not working 2. Temperature control of Shower if our room was not working though they did provide alternate room just for shower purpose I would recommend this hotel for nearness to downtown and especially friendly staff

This was my first time staying in Juneau and the people at the Ramada made it a wonderful experience. The staff is very friendly and the hotel dog is a sweetheart. The location is perfect too—right near the water, so close you can wave at floatplanes like you’re in some charming Alaskan rom-com. Breakfast was great and the coffee was strong enough to wake up an hibernating bear. Would absolutely stay again.

Incredible amount of I Do Not Care displayed by the management and staff. Arrived close to midnight (delayed flight). This time of year the room occupancy is very low so seemingly the hotel disabled heat. Or it broke. They put a small space heater in my room but they never turned it on, so room at about 40F when I arrived. Camping experience, not good for a business trip. It took until the morning for the room to warm up. During the night, the fire alarm in the hotel was tripped five or six times. For $200 I stayed in a cold, nearly frozen room, awake most of the night. Got sick the next day, still sick now posting this review.

From the moment I walked through the doors of the Ramada by Wyndham in downtown Juneau, I was welcomed in right away, they also got me in for an early check in which was greatly appreciated. First, let me shout out the incredible staff who made my visit unforgettable. Kyra, Graycen, and Angie at the front desk were warm and welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Micheal, made sure everything ran smoothly during the quiet hours. Linda, the front desk manager, was also amazing Her professionalism and kindness set the tone for my entire stay. Jessica, the general manager, you can tell she leads by example because the entire front-of-house team was top-notch. Kris and Kelly’s Concierge, their insider knowledge was greatly appreciated and they were located in the lobby. The rooms were clean, and cl
