Travelodge by Wyndham Essington / Philadelphia Airport

Easy to check in and out thanks to a very friendly associate. Absolutely no amenities at all. Not even a desk chair. No drawers to put clothes in, just open cubbies. Rooms and baths need some work. Definitely overpriced for what you get (or don't get.)

Do not book it's a scam. The phones don't work. The tv does not work. They don't provide pillows, or towels. Super sketchy area. The staff is just absolutely a disastrous doesn't care or even want to help. We would of canceled if they would reimburse us but they literally said too bad so sad. The worst thing was the room was not cleaned in days. There was a cockroach in the tub. Just absolutely horrible

Someone almost got murdered next door and they did nothing about it. You could hear the blood curdling screams coming from the wall. I informed John about it but he did nothing. And I informed him that the cops need to be involved but he simply did not care about the safety of the residents. He said that he called his manager Andres who also did not care about the brutal suffering that was happening next door. I did take actions into my own hands and call the cops to save the young lady. But I would advise not staying here unless you want to be unalived.

Positive: Girl at the front desk is very sweet Negative: Room had sharpie all over the bed the tv the toilet seat the room had been cleaned but they didn't even bother to try and remove the writing that was on everything. The light fixture between the two beds was broken so the bulbs were exposed.

Before I book my room, I called the reservation line if I could be placed in a room which was further away from the I-95 highway. I was told Yes. To double make sure, I put my request in writing on the special request section online. When I arrived, I was shocked that they just placed me in a room that is closest to the I-95. I asked the front desk if he could put me in a different room and he said no. When I arrived I had noticed that the hotel was pretty empty with only a few cars in the parking lot but the front desk told me that there were many people who come to stay in this hotel do not have cars. I then asked if I could cancel my reservation because they did not keep their word. The front desk called the manager and the manager said that I could file a complaint the next morning. I
