Clarion Hotel Philadelphia International Airport

My stay here was awful - potentially my worst hotel experience. I waited in the cold for the shuttle for 40-45 minutes. I had to call three times in order for them to finally send the shuttle. I called once when I arrived, a second time after 15 minutes went by with no shuttle, and then again after another 15, for the shuttle to finally be sent. I booked a whirlpool tub room. We were staying for a very short night because our flight got delayed overnight, and we just wanted to relax with the jetted tub- that was the entire purpose of booking the room. We checked in, went up to our room, only to discover that the whirlpool tub was still full of water and the bed was unmade, meaning the room was not cleaned by staff and not at all ready. Hotel looked like it hadn't been remodel since 1976. Check in took too long. Lady behind the desk remained seated the entire time despite the sign next to her that said "Stand at all times to greet and check guest in or out." Room and bathroom was very dated. Not a good experience.

I stayed at this hotel unexpectedly after my flight was cancelled and American Airlines arranged an overnight stay. Upon arrival, I noticed that the lobby décor was quite nice, and the staff members were friendly and accommodating. However, the condition of the property was concerning. The elevator appeared old and dusty, which may feel unsafe for guests uncomfortable with older equipment. The hallways had a noticeable mildew odor, partially masked by cleaning products. Inside the room, there were stains on the carpet, walls, and bathroom surfaces. I also encountered both live and dead insects — one even jumped into my shirt. While the room itself was somewhat tidy and the air quality acceptable, the furniture and bedding were dusty and had visible crumbs. Overall, I would not recommend th

The Clarion was a wonderful place to stay. My fiancé and I had to book a last-minute room around 5:30 a.m., and the entire experience was very positive. The best part of our stay, though, was the three women working at the front desk. All of them were incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. We were going through a stressful situation, and their compassion and understanding truly meant a lot to us. Their kindness made a difficult time much easier, and we are very grateful.

The staff is ALWAYS very warm and welcoming and super helpful. Our rooms were clean and comfortable but the beds seemed more like cots rather than beds. We were disappointed the restaurant was close but everyone deserves a days off. We will always stay with your hotel when we visit Philadelphia
