Travelodge by Wyndham Crescent City

This is an excellent motel. Although Crescent City is small, the rooms inside were very spacious, clean, and had a nice desk and office chair for reading, as well as in-room coffee and shampoo etc. The bed was my favorite part, and the pillows ranged in size for your preference and one was very supportive. The desk attendant was extremely professional. You will receive a text asking if you need anything and they are welcoming.

We were here for a celebration of life, so we we were not looking for fancy, Its clean and quite. It is old, and you do hear alot of outdoor noise cars, dogs, foghorn and traffic. (I have small children noise doesnt bother our family.);Full size soaps available for use in the bathroom, and vanity, being a long haired girly i love this because the small travel size ones are not enough. Staff excellent, friendly. I had no issues. Would return thank you travel lodge for ur hospitality.

Positive: Great location to walk to harbor and beach. Room was clean and seemed to be recently updated. Bed was ultimately very comfortable (we had to ask maintenance to repair a foot of the frame that had caused the bed to sag and be noisy). Negative: Walls were very thin (or sound possibly came through a locked door towards adjoining room); could clearly hear coughs/sneezes from neighboring rooms, as well as being able to make out most conversation. Tub/shower faucet was hard to turn.

Nothing fancy but the room was super clean. The front desk guy was cool he was knowledgable about the area. Very quiet and I felt safe. The beds are super comfortable too. I usually have a hard time sleeping in a strange place. I slept very well here. Location is perfect, we were able to explore up Oregon, the redwoods and all of crescent city. I was sad to leave!

This is a modest hotel, but it more than makes up for the lack of luxury with exceptionally friendly service and very clean rooms. We arrived late after a long drive, and the front desk attendant welcomed us warmly and even shared helpful tips that made our visit to the redwoods much more enjoyable. A great option if you value cleanliness and genuine hospitality.
