Crescent Beach Motel

We arrive well after check in time and the room they put us in had not been cleaned at all. So we went back to the front desk and let them know. They apologized and weren't sure why it wasn't cleaned and said they would put us in a different room...which we were grateful for because even if the original room didn't have un unmade bed and trash everywhere we were pretty sure it would still smell terrible. We were then put in a different room which had an adjoining room that was currently under construction. The door between the two units did not lock or even latch and only stayed closed if we propped a chair against it. But hey! At least this room didn't smell due to the new flooring and was mostly clean...except for the bathroom faucet that still had toothpaste and hair all over it.

Positive: The location on the beach was as advertised. Negative: Our room had a strong chemical smell. And even with that it still smelled like it had been a room where smoking was allowed in the past.

I truly loved every moment of my stay at this place; it was incredibly cute, cozy, and peaceful. There is nothing quite like falling asleep to the rhythmic sound of the ocean right outside the sliding door, it provided the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time. ​One of the highlights was taking a late-night walk on the beach under the stars, then heading back inside to warm up under the heavy, plush blankets. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, which made the experience even better. With the way the room is designed, I felt like I was glamping; it felt as though I was literally sharing a space with nature while still having all the comforts of home. It was a truly magical experience, and I will definitely be coming back to stay again.

Reserved the Suite and it was perfect. Right on the beach, comfy sitting area, ample bedroom, and large kitchen. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. So relaxing to have a cup of coffee watching the waves roll in! Very nice!

Very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very communicative prior and post of stay. The room was perfect. We got look at the window and see the ocean, and leave the window open to hear the sound of the ocean while sleeping. Next morning before sunrise, walked along the beach with our dog. It was magical and will come back again.
