Crescent City / Redwoods KOA Holiday

The RV spot was great and spacious, we loved that part. And the cost was very fair. I was disappointed that the men’s bathroom near our site was closed our entire stay for no apparent reason. The WiFi did not reach our rv site The laundry room was not in service and was a big reason we booked this stop on our road trip. I would have expected an email before we arrived to let us know that.

We're new to KOA's and camping with an RV in general and were so surprised to find such a charming place to rest our heads after a long day on the road. The grounds of this KOA are in the Redwoods, like, amongst them. If you didn't drive any further south, you'd still come away from this stay feeling like you'd gotten up close and personal with the magnificent Giant Sequoias. What a bonus! This property feels like it's owned and run by folks who love what they do. It would be a full-time job to keep a place like this up, and from what we experienced on a foggy evening in January, the property owners here are present, caring, and ready to serve. This KOA was under new ownership and has great potential! |We hope to return and see what they have accomplished.|The sites are nice and roomy! The Redwoods are so close and the town|of Crescent City is worth the drive.

We’ve been to a lot of KOAs. This isn’t the best one. But it’s certainly not the worst. If you’re going to spend most of your time in the park, and only sleep in your camper then this one is fine. When we were there in June of 2025, the store was empty, there was a lot of trash piled by the laundry room, but it was a decent spot for us to stay while we explored the area. It was quiet at night and apparently safe. Would recommend. Probably.

Loved it here, I stayed one night in my van, had the best vibes.. the trees, ferns, and banana slugs blew my mind. Clean laundry facility (only one washer and dryer functional). The showers were hot and the beers were cold! What more can I say.
