This is Hands Down the Best Camp Ground we have been to!!! Family friendly lots of space in the campsites for all accomodations, pet friendly of all sorts!! The Camp Host is incredibly helpful and so are the children I have no words for how amazing these people truly are who have become friends while camping 🏕️ They are very attentive to all needs and any questions even the kidsos being a woman going to get fire wood I will say the teenage boy who helps out his dad where it's needed had helped wheel the wood down the hill for me and helped unload it very respectful and very helpful the Bathrooms are extremely clean and smell amazing best yet in Del Norte County that we have witnessed, we definitely will be back and highly recommend this park to anyone!! It is so beautiful and so peaceful t

I had a wonderful experience staying at this small campground, just steps away from the stunning, crystal-clear, emerald-green Smith River. I was lucky to arrive early enough to grab a spot, because by the end of the day it got filled up. At just $20 a night, it’s a great value compared to other campgrounds I’ve stayed at. There are no showers, yet spacious restrooms and running water from the faucet was enough for me. The camp host was very friendly, checked in to make sure everyone was doing well, and he even shared great tips about nearby spots to visit and explore. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We discovered this by accident looking for a place to camp to get away from the bad inland air because of many fires in 2018. It's a nice place to camp. Nothing fancy. Bathroom and a host, Among redwoods and right next to the smith river. Pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Will come back.

Simply gorgeous and the river is right there for summer swim. Only thing is I would worry about my pet because it's very close to Hwy 197

Enjoyed this small campground with big views. It had plenty privacy and the restrooms were clean.
