Ocean View Inn

I had an excellent experience checking in at Ocean View Inn. Ryan at the front desk was extremely helpful and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. He allowed me to briefly park up front so I could unload our luggage and make sure my wife got safely into the room, which I truly appreciated. He also helped me book a second night last minute and ensured we could stay in the same room without having to check out and back in. His professionalism and kindness really stood out. The lobby is beautifully decorated with winter décor and has a very warm, inviting presentation—perfect for this time of year. Stayed at Oceanview Inn and had a great experience. The room was very clean and well taken care of, which I really appreciated. The staff was friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy. The service was great and made the stay even better. I actually ended up staying an extra night because it was so nice and comfortable. Great location, great service, and a really pleasant stay overall. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

We loved our stay here and would consider staying here again when in the area. It was conveniently located to explore the Redwoods National & State Parks the next day. The room was spacious and clean, and so was the bathroom. There is a countertop with the sink outside the bathroom, which saves time when multiple people are trying to get ready. For a three-star hotel, this place has a lot of personality and character to it. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and clearly care about their reputation in the tourism industry. There are other places you can stay, but I'd argue this one has the most charm, and it's centrally located to all the things you might want to do in the area. My only complaint is that there's some technology lag here with the televisions in particular. The inability to use streaming services does need rectified in this era. Overall, though, a very pleasant stay, and deserving of praise.
