Travelers Motel

Front desk staff was friendly. Room - missing lampshades, tv doesn’t work, dirty bath towels, no Kleenex, no waste basket, musty smell, couldn’t control heat (when woke up too warm) full size bed left me w a pulled muscle in my back …..no queen sizes here and the beds are about 2 feet off the floor - all this luxury for a mere $74 w tax. And the ice machine was broke.

We had a great visit at Travelers! It was an unexpected stop in Douglas when a storm rolled through and changed our plans. Luckily, travelers was very accommodating and helped us in that time of need. Rooms are affordable, clean, and a great place to rest. Absolutely great experience!

Our stay was wonderful and relaxing. The woman checking us in was very helpful and kind. The room was very clean: clean sheets, carpet and bathroom. The AC worked perfectly and I was grateful for the microwave, mini fridge and cable tv! Great budget friendly motel in Douglas. If I’m ever back in the area I will not hesitate to book another stay at the Travelers Motel.

If you need a place to stay in Douglas, I highly recommend Travelers Motel. It is a cute vintage style motel. I love the old fashioned vibe to it with real keys for your room. No key cards. I rarely leave reviews but had to as the customer service here is amazing. The woman who checked us in was so sweet and went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed. She definitely makes you feel welcome and appreciated.

The managers were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy. Bathroom was clean as well, cleaner than most actually. The mini fridge and ac/heater unit worked too, which is sometimes a hit or miss when your renting a room.
