Best Western Douglas Inn & Suites

We stayed at the Best Western in Douglas Arizona, I had the worst experience! They had no one at the front desk when we got there to check in,we waited 20 minutes for someone to show up at the counter, the lobby was dark, no lights on. The carpet is dirty, the entire Hotel has a bad smell!!! We tried to sit in the lobby at night just to get out of our room but like I said they have no lights on and they only have one channel to watch in the lobby and itt was a Mexican channel with "novelas" it's a very bad experience we had. We got charged $200.00 a night you expect more for that price!! And the sad thing it's the only "good Hotel" in town!

Nice large, clean rooms. Haley at check in was very knowledgeable and very nice. We felt “taken care of” our whole visit. Breakfast had a variety of foods and even my picky grandson found something he liked. My only suggestion would be a nice soft pillow top for the mattress. Will definitely recommend . We thought it was a step up from what we were expecting for the price we paid. Always nice to get a happy surprise at the end of a long day traveling.

My family and I we stayed at the Best Western Douglas Inn & Suites in July 2024, for my grandparents 65th wedding anniversary. We have always stayed at this hotel, because of the rooms and the service we always receive is very appreciated! My family and I we were in Room 101 right near the breakfast area. Our room was very good, we loved the Samsung TV's and had a lot of channels. I would like to give a special shout-out to Barbara the breakfast attendant. She is a very hard-working person and always so friendly and kind to my family and to a lot of guests. Barbara does go above and beyond, she always asks questions, and is beyond outgoing. Ice machine on main floor has been put of service for more than 3 yrs. Very inconvenient having to go to upper floors to get ice. When house keeping came in and changed my bedding and cleaned my room. I had blood stains on the comfort that they said was "clean" where the one I had on the bed that they took didn't have any stains. Also they left supposed clean towels in the bathroom that were "ink" stained. They wouldn't give me a new comforter because they said it was not the sheets dirty. I stay at this hotel for work and spend a lot of money staying here. Just thought it could be better accommodations.

First I want to thank everyone from the maintenance, clerks, house keepers, cooks, managers, etc. They all put in a great effort too make the place run smoothly! Breakfast is available every morning, and everyone seems to take pride in their job! I appreciate everyone for all they do!
