Very nice budget model. The owner was super nice - he even gave me a sample of the dinner his wife prepared! After some reviews I was not sure what to expect and booked it because of the price. Everything was very clean, the staff super friendly and the bed firm, new, and comfortable. So definitely a recommendation. I’ll be back! Yes, the heat is tough to control (a wall heater and an electric heater by the bath); and, without AC it might not be the best summer choice… but for this powder skier it was great!!!

This was a terrible experience. The room had bed bugs, and I couldn’t sleep all night. I woke up with itchy bites all over my body. The staff didn’t seem to care or offer any help. The cleanliness was unacceptable, and the overall condition of the place was disgusting. I would never stay here again and strongly advise others to avoid it. Completely ruined my trip.

Good value for the price. I was on the second floor and found the room quiet relative to neighbors and street noise. Room was clean and carpet appeared to be new and clean. Location was great - right i the heart of town, just 1.5 miles from Heavenly and casinos. Yes, like other review noted, no AC, but they had a fan. Also pool was not filled, but I wouldn't have used it.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and had a very pleasant experience, keeping in mind that we get what we paid for. If you are on a budget and/or don’t plan to spend much time in the room, then Travel Inn will absolutely get the job done. It is in a good location, the room was clean, management was exceptionally nice, we got fresh towels whenever we needed, and the shower pressure and temperature was outstanding. None of the units have AC, but that is akin to most hotels on the area. We made due with the fans in the room - plus, it gets very cold at night. Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone who knows how to align their expectations with the price that they pay. This is a no frills experience but it gets the job done. Enjoy!
