The Iceberg Tahoe

Came here with a large group of friends/family for a week of ski vaca. had no issues with a pretty late check-in (drove in late on a friday). the overall place was nice. free parking, and our room was very clean with plenty of space for our gear. the plus was definitely being walking distance to the lifts and town center. seems like a lot of new restaurants in the area and the shopping is good too, with ice skating too. this area is so nice! first time in South Lake Tahoe, but we definitely want to come back more before the end of the season. this hotel is definitely our top choice!

Just stayed at The Iceberg Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The recent remodel is beautifully done — everything feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The hotel is incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after a full day out. Its location is another huge plus: close to everything you need, from dining to activities, yet still peaceful. And for the quality you get, the price is excellent. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

We had such a great stay at this hotel! It’s clear the property has recently been updated and everything felt fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The finishes throughout the rooms and common areas gave it a clean, upscale feel while still being warm and comfortable. The location is a huge plus, especially if you’re heading to Heavenly. It was incredibly convenient to get to the ski resort, which made our mornings stress-free and gave us more time on the mountain.

The location is perfect for skiing, dining, and getting around South Lake Tahoe, even during peak season. Parking was easy, which matters a lot in snowy conditions, and everything felt efficient and thoughtfully set up. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe was quiet, relaxed, and skier-friendly. Highly recommend for a ski-focused Tahoe stay—would happily book again. 🎿❄️

We stayed several days with the family and absolutely loved it! The rooms are super cute and you can tell the new owner put a ton of effort into the remodel. The sunken hangout space with the fire pits are super chill. I’ve never seen that concept before; so legit!! We were able to walk to everything we needed to do - dinner, ice skating, ski rental stores, shopping, casino and more. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Tahoe.
