Trails End RV Park

This is my first negative review. If I don't like it, I don't say anything. (It might just be my taste) But, after 50,000+ miles in 15+ states, and 75 RV/boondocking sites . . . this is the worst. It was junky, unkept, and I would sleep Glocked up in my rig at night if I stayed there. The manager is off-site, and doesn't return phone calls. My honest, unbiased recommendation is to boondock at a truck stop or Walmart. We left and went elsewhere.

We were traveling from Sacramento to San Diego with our camper, pulled in to this site because they do not take reservations, called the main phone number and was told where to pull up and hook up, we did that and unhooked and when to dinner, was not bothered by anyone, next morning was just asked to go to office after 8am, cost 30 dollars for the night, this is a very relaxed place and would highly recommend staying here if you are in Tehachapi.

We did not stay here, looked like it was full of people living there permanently. It was not what we expected, the park looked more like a work camp. It did not look safe for travelers but we don't know that since we did not stay there, it was just our impression.

Got broken branches that have been hanging for 2 weeks, with an elderly woman who lives right there and seems to be to complicating of a task for the park manager to take care of. Ignore your phone calls when help is needed. Whoever manages the park needs to be more helpful to its older residents.

This park is well-run by kind and hard-working people and filled with good neighbors. It has various sized spots, full hook-ups and internet, showers and bathrooms, and easy walking distance to downtown. The managers also run the local Christian store. The rates here are good and we were lucky to get a spot!
