Lodge At Woodward West

The lodge is very dirty and dusty, with a strong smell of humidity and mold. There were also bedbugs, and we ended up with bites. Not recommended. There were smaller bedbugs or ticks that aren't visible in the pictures.

This was our final planned stop on a three week visit to the USA. We booked an Action Getaway Weekend at Camp Woodward which included one nights stay at The Lodge. The Lodge itself was really showing its age and was quite basic. It does require quite a bit of work updating and making it safer and more comfortable for guests but the lodgings weren't what we had come for. Camp Woodward and Hangar 18 were FANTASTIC. We shared the weekend with another family and visiting pro skaters and bike riders and loved every second of our visit.||||Food was difficult to find as this area isn't exactly a tourist hotspot but we did find a nice pizza place. The conditions of the room are unhealthy. Strong smell to mold, dust and humidity. The carpet and furniture are very dusty. We got bitten by bedbugs 😫

I had so much fun on our CiBAZ weekend adventure getaway. Woodward West is awesome. Limited staff in the off season, but they were all very nice & made sure we were taken care of, regardless. Beautiful views, spectacular park set up, and cozy beds.

This is the old Stallion Springs Resort. It has a new name but hasn't changed much since the 1980s. Although the fixutres are a little dated, the rooms are still in good shape, the furniture is neat and comfortable, and the rooms are memorably spacious. Of course the views are always astounding, and the resort is far enough from town that you really get a feeling for being in the countryside. Fortunately, they have kept their prices competitive with the chains in town.
