TownePlace Suites by Marriott San Jose Campbell

Pros: Walking distance to tons of restaurants "downtown" and at the Pruneyard. Lots of parking. Low price for the area. Quiet. Large-ish rooms. Snack food and microwavable meals at the front desk. Nice showers with tons of hot water.||Cons: Very mediocre breakfast. Queen beds feel small. Barely adequate toilet paper and shampoo.||To me, out of the lodging in the area, this place best balances price and amenities. It's average at best for a Marriott property but the price and location are great.

Loved this location when was visiting a buddy up north. Close to the hwy and plenty of strip malls close by to pick up necessities. Do want to highlight Jacky helping me out tho. Not only did she make the check in process easy but she was able to help navigate a small issue during the process. Will return just for her great customer service

Best price value in this area by far. Usually about half the price of the Hilton across the street, but same quality of rooms. Much better than the similarly expensive Marriott courtyard nearby too. The only thing I didn’t realise was that you had to request room service. Breakfast isn’t great, but for the price you cannot complain. The gym is very small. It does have barbells up to 50 lbs and a bench, so you can do some basic stuff.

We enjoyed our stay here for our purpose of having surgery. The kitchen was very helpful and we had a 2 bedroom suite with ample room and space. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. It is a clean and comfortable property. Beds and pillows were very nice. I would stay here again. I thought the freeway noise would be an issue but it never was. Having the park next door and walking paths were very nice too. Free breakfast was great too.

Jackie has provided outstanding service from start to finish, seamlessly combining my three reservations for a two‑week stay at TownePlace Suites by Marriott. The room is comfortable, and the staff are welcoming. The location is excellent—close to The Pruneyard and within walking distance of downtown Campbell—with a creek trail behind the hotel that’s perfect for morning walks.
