Larkspur Landing Extended Stay Suites Campbell

I've stayed at Larkspur Landing many times before. Never disappointed. This location is more like a motel. Booking included breakfast, when I called downstairs to find out what time breakfast was available I was informed they were remodeling and didn't have a kitchen to serve breakfast. I was changed to a different room because the 1st one had wet carpet. ||When i checked out the young lady said I'd receive my confirmation receipt via email. 2 days later i called hotel because I hadn't received it. I spoke to the manager who happened to have answered the phone. Ge asked about my stay. I shared my concerns and he of course apologized. He also offered to refund me for 1 night's stay. I asked him if he needed my card info, he replied no and started he'd send a revised billing sho

Booked for a single night. Arrived at 2p but told there were no clean rooms yet. I checked my bags to return late after meetings and dinner. No problem yet, except... There is a sign on the door the the restaurant is closed bldown by order of the health department. So no breakfast? When I returned to check in, I was told there was now a $12 nightly parking fee (when I booked online it explicitly said free self parking). And I could not access wifi. When I asked about this (and showed them my booking) I was told I'd have to speak to the manager in the morning but would have to pay all fees right then. I cancelled (after some difficulty got a refund) and won't be back. The place had the atmosphere of a once decent spot that is run down past bargain consideration.

Positive: Nothing Negative: People were in the lobby smoking. I got key to room and went to elevator. Dirty carpet that smelled. Smell in hallway was bad. Entered room and it was worse. I checked out 45min later. Could not sleep in that smell.

True to the brand, studio style with basic kitchen provisions. This Larkspur Landing is a little dated, needs some TLC soon, but for the price, it is definitely great value in the middle of Silicon Valley. Don't expect too much from the staff, this is not a full service hotel, but friendly and helpful enough when you need. Manage your expectations and it'll be fine.

They have a sign at the front desk that says this is a friendly hotel. IGNORE THAT. Every single staff member has given me an attitude. The rooms are truly filthy. The housekeeping didn't clean the garbage disposal and it smelled absolutely pungent. There were a bunch of hairs stuck to the wall in the bathroom when I checked in and I don't know how you miss that.
