TownePlace Suites by Marriott Louisville Airport

Hotel is fine, but if you are wanting decent people and customer service during your stay this is not the place to go! We had an issue during our stay, and requested the manager to check the cameras so we can adequately file a police report and they refused to look or be helpful in any way possible. More headaches than what it is worth, new hotels are being built around it and hopefully will be a better option if you're looking in the area.

This location is right off the freeway which gives you quick access in and out. The area is surrounded by other hotels and one that is currently being built and a few restaurant that is walkable. I recommend Taco City. We stayed here for business. The front desk people were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. They offered a free breakfast in the morning. They had a fitness room and pool. Since this hotel is nearby the airport, you can hear the airplanes early in the morning (like 4am). Then in the morning the construction across the street. If you are easily bothered by noise when you sleep, I would not stay here. For us it was fine.

This hotel stay was super! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was well laid out and the beds were comfortable. I liked the full size fridge and the tiny dishwasher blew my mind! The closet space / drawer space was great as well. In a prior review I had read a complaint about airplane noise but truthfully this seemed expected being so close to a major airport. It wasn’t that bad considering. Very nice!

For those leaving complaints understand that most of your negative feedback does not help others especially when amazing like a victim. Room : was clean felt comfortable had a fridge. electric stove and dishwasher with plates. Yes some dishes maybe dirty it happens when people fail to wash their own plates and instead leave them in the dishwasher. Dishwashers dont scrub its pretty logic. Service: staff are friendly. For those complaining about cameras and room privacy etc. Cameras can only be accessible to the GM and Owner only. Unless you file a police report they would allow the officer to conduct his investigation. So please stop harassing the staff. Privacy, while they do have a DND ( do not disturb] signs available for you to place thats there for a reason. If you dont have the sign

The hotel was nice, rooms were clean. The reason for the one star is a member of my party accidentally left his wallet at the desk, went to his room, got a call by the desk that it was left down there about 10 minutes later. When he picked up his wallet, all the cash in it was gone and the receptionist was very suspicious and not willing to work with him to see if they could find out who may have stolen the cash
