Homewood Suites by Hilton Louisville Downtown

Every last detail of my stay was wonderful and I can’t recommend this hotel more! Emma, Antoine, Lase, and Samantha all made my stay outstanding. The room was clean and comfortable, and every employee there was attentive, helpful, and friendly. If it seems like I’m gushing about this hotel, it’s because I am! Keep up the great work!

Downtown location is good if you’re at a convention or need to do the Burbon crawl.|Other than that pretty boring. Visit the triangle neighborhood for pubs, galleries, great food, gay bars, shopping etc.||The hotel itself is typical layout. What is great is that it’s very new. Carpets are clean, furniture is new, showers are in great shape.|Would stay here again for that reason only. |Staff OK, not overly friendly. Sometimes heads stay down when you come in which is a little off putting. They buzz you in frequently which gives you an idea of the neighborhood.

The property location is wonderful — safe, walkable, and the building itself appears recently updated and aesthetically pleasing. However, to my absolute horror, when I pulled out the couch to get my children settled for bed, there were moving insects in the pullout mattress… and not just one. I immediately called downstairs and was given a new room, but when I went to the front desk, there was no one there except security. No one followed up with me at any point, despite the seriousness of finding bugs where my children were supposed to sleep. The next morning, we left first thing. When I tried addressing this with management afterward, the experience only became more frustrating. The hotel is good enough. No complaints. The locations pretty good. Lots of restaurants nearby. Normally, not worth writing a review over. But I think good employees should get recognized. Lase has been awesome. Always a smile. Always professional. Always helpful. And seems as if he actually enjoys helping guests. The epitome of what the hospitality industry should be.

It was really nice. It was a home away from home. The location was great as it was walking distance from the 4th Street, Muhammad Ali Centre and the Gellespie.Jeremy the guy who checked us in was very friendly and helpful.The breakfast was ok, mainly because it was not Halaal therefore I was only able to eat certain things.Overall the stay was great.
