21c Museum Hotel Louisville

I transferred from another hotel around the corner from 21c because it didn’t have an onsite restaurant. What I didn’t know was how great the service, atmosphere and amenities would be. My room was spacious (King), well equipped for a luxe stay and the daily servicing during my nearly two week stay was appreciated. From the inclusion of art in the room, and the roaming giant red penguins to the incredible gallery which features contemporary, mixed and multi media art reflecting everything from African American history to LGBTI+ expressions. The diversity of staff all made me feel welcome and were there to ensure my stay was a safe and comfortable one. A lovely hotel in a great location. A major downside is that the rooms have little noise protection. I was in room 421. I heard Every Word the occupants of room 422 spoke for the length of my stay. When I checked out, the staff at the front desk suggested they were aware of this issue. Buyer beware.

Brings enjoyment back into staying away from home. A unique hotel located right on Whiskey Row. Would be tough to find a better location if visiting for Bourbon or any other downtown activity. The modern art museums in the lobby and throughout the hotel are fascinating to view. The hotel restaurant Proof on Main is outstanding. Treat yourself to a real special stay in Louisville.

When we first checked in on Jan 1st the service was great. The valet was awesome and friendly. The front desk was very kind and helpful. We loved that the hotel is dog friendly and the that we got a room upgrade thru Chase. After that, the service was pretty bad… The front desk recently got a new system and had credit card processing issues but acted like my card was denied so I had to call Chase and go to the front desk multiple times to fix the issue. This was after midnight so it was very frustrating. We tried to order breakfast room service 6 mins after the breakfast cutoff and were told no. This was our fault, we should have not been late but the tone was rude. When checking out, the valet was no where to be found and we had to wait forever for our car. He was in the back sitti

Lovely experience. Well appointed, comfortable bed & shower. While the main museum was closed for a private event, what we were able to view was nice. We were disappointed by this situation, but the manager offered us a a nice token, which helped. The next morning we had a nice breakfast. Lemon blueberry pancakes were soooo good! Wish we could have spent more time here but hope to be back.
