TownePlace Suites by Marriott Joliet South

I stayed here for three weeks for work. The staff was great at making me feel at home. The facilities were older but clean and in good condition. The pool was relaxing and the morning breakfast was delicious. The laundry facilities were excellent. Over all my stay was fantastic.

Needed a place to stay to meet up with a friend and travel to IA. Joliet in general is great for this and this hotel fit the bill. It is right off of I-80 so easy on/off the highway. There’s a fair number of food options very close by as well. Hotel is slightly dated but the room was very comfortable. My only quibbles were fairly minor: the bathroom had no light near shower and it was really dark there, even in daylight. I wish you court stream from phone on your Tv but you could sign into Netflix, which was nice. The breakfast was a but subpar. They had two hot options but very limited cereal and no bread for toast. We were here for a wedding and the check in and out process was nice. Our room had a kitchenette to it which was nice, but it did make the space feel smaller with the pull out sofa which we had. We had 3 people in our room. The room itself was clean and bed nice. The bathroom was fine. I did enjoy the breakfast area which nicely done. The area which they serve breakfast was sort of small so it could get congested if it was busy. A decent selection of food items.

In my experiencen establishments that accept pets are pretty gross. Thankfully, this is an exception! It was wonderful to be in a clean, comfortable room while moving cross country. The night auditor went out of her way to help us. I'm not sure I'll have occasion to stay in Joliet again, but if I find myself there, I will return to this hotel!

Stayed here for 2 nights, and would definitely stay another night. Rooms were nice and clean. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was hot and delicious. Ladies working the counter were so nice and sweet.
