TownePlace Suites by Marriott Garden City

The women at check in was quick and friendly. Was given a bottle of brand name water, a chocolate, and fresh baked otis spunkmeyer oatmeal raison cookies. Great warm welcome! Room was quiet and clean, even being right off elevator. It was difficult getting the rooms temperature right as I run hot and like it cool despite it being winter time. I enjoyed the full size fridge, but wish room had more than one usb plug. Usb is only on the tv and it stops charging when the tv is off. Plugs in light fixture between the beds were loose would not hold my charger block in room 219. Other than these couple hiccups loved and enjoyed my stay while traveling. Window was screwed shut so no use trying to get fresh air, but it was a comfortable stay. Much nicer than some of the other townplace suites and f

Just a quick overnighter and is everything is just as it always is at a TownePlace — consistently great. And as for those who fear the livestock smell, yes it is occasionally in the air… but it is nowhere inside the hotel or your room. So, worry not. The chocolate treat at check-in is a real surprise and a nice touch. We had the 2-Bedroom (Queens)/2-Bath (both with bath tubs) and it was very comfortable. There is an ice machine off the lobby, along with laundry and the fitness room. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, pre-packaged egg/cheese sandwiches, bacon, breads/bagels and individual milk cartons (fat-free, too) Thank you, GM Nichole for treating us like Marriott Bonvoy VIPs.

Positive: - Great hot breakfast buffet- Tasteful modern appointments in the room and lobby. - Cleanliness and comfy bed- Fully stocked kitchen Negative: While not the fault of the hotel, outside, the smell of a nearby stockyard permeated the air.

Very nice rooms with Pilot rates, service was great! The rooms were extremely nice and spacious. Would highly recommend this hotel. Pet friendly.

Do Not Stay here!! Read all the reviews. I checked in they put me in a room that smelled so old and musty and the ac unit was on the floor with a fan in the room like the carpet was wet then the second room the ac was all torn apart and gross flies were EVERYWHERE the third room they put me smelled so nasty and so old and by then we they were booked. I coughed all night. The mgr of course wasnt there at check in or out I left a message for her to call me. I should have received an apology and points as plat elite. I left 3 messages - she Never bothered to call me back . Don’t stay here ! Stay in Dodge City.
