Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Garden City, KS

Front desk was very helpful when we had an issue with the first room's door locks. Only suggestion-make sure the tubs have plugs. We prefer baths. But a washcloth worked fine.

With our two grandsons, we stayed at this Country Inn and Suites on August 10, 2025. Honestly, our stay was uncomfortable enough to make us committed to avoid this whole line of hotels in the future. It's almost comical how many things we experienced that were just plain sub-standard. The carpet in our room was woefully dirty. There was filthy fuzz all along the perimeter of our room. It was dark, but I turned my flashlight on to see an object in the corner. It was a penny covered in dirt and grime. It had obviously been there for quite a while. The tile floor in our bathroom was equally dirty. In the corners, there was a build up of dried muddy dirt that clearly was from swishing muddy water over the floor leaving the concentration of dirt in the corners. The bathtub caulking was yellow a

The pool being a main reason for staying was a huge disappointment to see it closed. Along with no coffee maker in the room and an odd smell from the cleaner that’s being used. Unless it was a bug spray? No bug problems just had the smell of pesticide. Throughout room and hotel. The showerhead was heavy the hard water buildup. And the crack along the ceiling are not appealing in bathroom and room.

The staff was very nice. Rooms were clean and breakfast was a nice variety, well stocked, and fresh. The pool was not open.

I stay here regularly for business. Overall nearly perfect, the rooms, the breakfast, the staff are all great. Wifi is essentially unusable from about 8pm to midnight though.
