TownePlace Suites by Marriott Fort Myers Gulf Coast

I stayed at TownePlace Suites Fort Myers Gulf Coast for one night because I needed a clean, pet-friendly place while traveling — and it was perfect. The location is incredibly convenient, right off I-75 and close to Gulf Coast Town Center for food and shopping. The hotel feels new, and the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The front desk staff truly stood out. Every time I walked past, they greeted me with a friendly hello or wished me a nice day or evening. That kind of hospitality makes such a difference. I don’t usually take advantage of hotel breakfast, but since I was traveling with my dog and couldn’t easily sit down at a restaurant, it worked out great. Very surprised when we arrived to our room at this property. Super nice young woman at the front desk, very nice and very welcoming. However, our room was so humid it felt damp and while the AC worked when we first entered the room, it stopped working as we were sleeping and the temperature increased to near 80 degrees. The room was clean but the smell and temp made the stay unpleasant. ||Saving grace was the hotels proximity to the RSW airport.

We visited from out of town to celebrate my mom’s birthday and had a great stay. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the front desk staff was extremely friendly. The location was perfect, everything we did that weekend was easily accessible from the hotel. We even took a trip to Sanibel Island, which was only about 20 minutes away. So many restaurants, shops, and activities were conveniently close without us even realizing it at first, which made the stay even better. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Fort Myers Estero! The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and our room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable for our family. The location is ideal if you’re planning to visit both Naples and Fort Myers everything is close by! There are plenty of shops and stores nearby, which came in handy when we realized we forgot our little’s bathing suit 🤪. If you’re traveling with dogs, there’s a dog daycare and boarding facility right up the road, which was super convenient. Great amenities, clean property, and an overall easy, stress-free stay. We would absolutely stay here again!

I was a little torn on this review. The staff were my favourite part. Aside from one rude cleaner, the rest were absolutely phenomenal and whoever is in charge of hiring should get a raise. I did like that they had a gym and free Wi-Fi. There was free breakfast as well, which was a pleasant surprise, but it wasn’t very good and upset my stomach. I am picky when it comes to food though. They let us check out one hour early, which we appreciated. However, there were a lot of issues that came along with staying here. There are no fans in the kitchen or any bathrooms. We had this weird smell that came in our room when they were cooking sometimes and there was a fish smell that was so unbelievably bad, that we had to switch rooms.
