The Hibiscus House of Fort Myers

I was so very pleasantly impressed by this little b&b! It was very clean, and has old charm with new upgrades. The bathroom in the citrus room was SO beautiful. The beds were more firm but I do like that. It was quiet even being on a main road. Breakfast had a little bit of something for everyone. As a vegetarian, I was able to have a full breakfast! We stayed for our anniversary and wanted a nice place and I would highly recommend to others.

My husband and I are so thankful that we found the Hibiscus House. It lives up to all the praise it receives on social media. It’s a charming bed-and-breakfast with five guest rooms in a quiet neighborhood in the Riverfront District and is within walking distance to restaurants and shops. We really liked that there was a nearby Publix for immediate needs. Our spotless room was well appointed and comfortable with the softest spa sheets on the beds, and the breakfast buffet provided a bounty of food, from hearty egg burritos to fresh fruit and cereal. We can’t wait to go back again.

We spent the weekend at the Hibiscus house and can't say enough positive things! Location was convenient for everything. Publix across the street. Less than a mile walk to downtown (monthly Music Walk was happening when we got there). Easy drive to Sanibel. Lots of other attractions close by that we did not have time to take advantage of. We stayed in the Seashell room, which was bright and roomy with our own balcony. Everything was immaculately clean. Games, beach towels/chairs, and TONS of books to borrow during your stay. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend:)

Well if this isnt the most charming place we've ever stayed! The old house feel was met with amazing attention to detail in every aspect. The room was spotless, bright and veru well decorated. We were in the 1st floor flamingo room. All of the common spaces were well maintained and beautifully decorated as well. While breakfast is usually at 8:30, the staff was there early to accomodate our early business plans, with a full continental breakfast at 7am. Couldn't be more grateful for that act of kindness. We will recommend anyone staying in the area and will be our 1st choice when in the area again. Thank you so much for the email with info for local places and things to do. We really liked staying there...had the Flamingo room. Very comfortable and has an entrance to a little side patio and the off street parking area. Nice breakfast and cookies! Easy walk to downtown historic area and Edison Ford estates. We would definitely stay there again.
