Tower Motel Long Beach

Room was a decent size, came with a mini fridge and microwave! Located right next to a gas station and across the street from the 3 and 171 buses if you're headed downtown. The only downside was baby roaches coming from the microwave :( but the sheets were clean and housekeeping was great!

I stayed here one night to attend a nearby event. I found to room to be decent enough but water would spew from the sink knobs when I would run the water and there were bugs on the bathroom floor. ||I could hear EVERYTHING the people next to my room were doing and I requested to be put in a different room but the extremely unhelpful person at the office window (behind bulletproof glass btw) said he couldn't change my room although there were several vacant rooms. Later on in the night, a few of the other hotel guests decided to start blasting music from their cars in the parking lot around 2am and the staff clearly did not thing about it as they would go back and forth from their car to do this several times.||When it was time to check out (mercifully!), I asked the staff member if he coul

ROACHES EVERYWHERE! Non-smoking room but the air was thick with smoke stench (window was open when we got there), chewed gum stuck on wall, dirty headboard, unknown spattered substance on door frame, dried blood drops on bathroom wall, broken gfci outlet roach feces in every corner, dirty and stained towels and bedding, AC unit caked with dust and had chucks of unknown matter inside vents, roaches even made their way into our luggage and crawled out when we reopened them. Management did not offer to reclean our room when we complained! They got an attitude and refused to refund us and ignored booking.com when they tried to contact them about it. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Positive: The closeness to the venue I was staying at, and the friendliness of the staff Negative: My room reeked like cigarettes when we walked in. I'm not a smoker and I really hate the smell, so that was rough. The ac kept turning off by itself and it was hot in the room, it was also missing the cover with the little slits for direction.

This motel is convenient for the location. The room and bathroom were both large and clean. The A/C worked but kind of loud. Has free wifi and the code will be given to you at check in. The only real problem was trying to figure out how the TV worked. Even after going to the front desk and being given another remote, nothing changed and I never managed to get it working. On the bright side though, it does have in wall cell phone chargers between the beds.
